Skalloween III: Aka-ska, The Hi jacks, Peg & the Bouffants

This night is now the stuff of legend...
I am in two local covers bands, one playing soul/funk called Beat Street and the other playing ska called Aka-Ska.
My band has had a great year, playing in The Tunnels and having a residency in Cafe Drummonds. We have also played in two music festivals: Feugh Fest on the main stage and in the Scooter Tent of Wickerman. We have also supported a lot of ska legends, such as Bad Manners, The Beat, Neville Staples, The Big and the Amphetameanies.
If you guys are going to be in Aberdeen during Halloween, make sure you make your way down to Skalloween III at the re-opened Lemon Tree. As you expect of this highlight in the Aberdeen gigging calendar, we will be giving away prizes for the best costumes and supplementing our set list with some spooky songs to get the crowd going. We will also be going with the tradition of the band dressing up for Skalloween, but our outfits will be kept under wraps ('scuse the pun) until Friday night.
Until then, my friends.
