Feugh Fest
I still haven’t fully recovered from Feugh Fest.
I didn’t realize quite how much walking would be involved.
A couple of bands turned up and security let them in as we all had their photos at the gate, but they didn’t pick up the backstage passes which were posted to their agents. So that meant I had to walk to the other side of the field to get passes for them.
I soon learned from that experience and kept some passes in my bag.
Just as well I did that, since about 5 bands forgot their passes, humph.
I’m beginning to think it is best if bands just collect their passes and stuff on the day. He who was helping me out with band riders and I camped on site on Saturday night, and on Sunday morning my feet were totally seized up.
I had to hobble across the field to the portaloos.
Normally this would take any normal person about a minute, but in my case it was about ten. Top speed of 1 mph for me the whole day, nice. I wished we had a bath or a foot spa on site.
